Sommly collects information users provide directly, including account details, email address, name, password credentials, sommelier onboarding details, service preferences, consultation requests, and support messages.
How We Use Information
We use this information to create and secure accounts, review sommelier profiles, operate bookings, send transactional account email, provide support, improve the product, and send optional marketing email when a user opts in.
Email Preferences
Transactional account email is sent as part of operating Sommly. Marketing email is optional and can be declined at signup or unsubscribed from later. More detail is available on the Email Compliance page.
Service Providers
Sommly may use infrastructure, database, analytics, email delivery, and mailing-list providers to operate the service. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services to Sommly.
Data Requests
Users can request access, correction, or deletion of their personal information by emailing drinkwine@somm.ly.
